Jesus wants the church to grow up, not just to grow old. The goal of His church is to become more and more like Jesus. To help us mature, God did not only just give us leaders to equip us, God also gave us each other so that we may speak the truth in love to each other. When we speak the truth of Jesus to one another, we grow in Jesus in every aspect of our lives. Rather than living in our childish ways, the Body of Christ can help each other to grow up to become more and more like Christ by speaking the Gospel truth to one another through actions and words.
Singing is more than just a physical action. Christian singing is heart-felt worship to our God. In Ephsians 5, Paul teaches us five ways to include our hearts and minds to sing worshipfully to our Lord and Savior.
Ever felt like you are JUST doing something? Just doing hw, just parenting, just working, etc. All of us experience this restless discontent in our lives but God has made us for more. God has called us to live consistently in the stream of His calling in our lives. We are all made for the purpose of bringing the fullness of Christ into every nook and cranny of this world.
